  • Girls on the Mic is excited to partner with Oasis with Girls this fall for a music production and podcast workshop.  For six weeks, Oasis girls will learn to record on pro tools, record interviews of each other, make a beat, add instruments and vocals, and mix their unique songs in our professional studio.

  • Audio Advertising class at Pandora - Free for WAM members!
    Tuesday, December 8th, 2016 6:30-9:00pm

    This workshop will serve as an introduction to mixing and mastering audio for advertising. Participants will be taken through the process of creating an ad from raw audio file to finished, mastered product through a series of presentations and a hands-on demonstration. At the end of the workshop, everyone will have a chance to edit and mix an audio ad, and receive feedback if desired.

    For the spring semester, Girls on the Mic will be partnering with Buena Vista Horace Mann for their Middle School Seminar Series.  Each week for 15 weeks, Girls on the Mic staff will bring WAM equipment to BVHM for girls to create their own radio plays, recreate dialogue and foley sound for a cartoon clip, write and produce their own songs on a 4 track recorder and Garage Band, and more.
