The ultra talented indie songstress, Lia Rose, performed a benefit concert at Women’s Audio Mission last week through Giving Stage, a virtual venue that raises money for social and environmental change. We raised $1,600 through Giving Stage, enough to help train 15 more under-served middle school girls next semester, and Rose put on a fabulous and intimate performance.
Lia Rose plays indie music with an alt-country flavor and has a voice described by Owl Mag as “refreshingly pure”. She has a long history of playing solo and in indie bands such as Built for the Sea and Or, the Whale in the Bay Area.
