The next WAM member meeting will be held on June 30, at 7pm. Come on down to WAM, or participate online via a free webcast! We have a full evening planned:
We'll be hosting a Q&A with Suzanne Elliott, the managing director of Barefoot Sound. Suzanne is a longtime WAM member, and she built those amazing monitors you've seen (and, if you're lucky, heard) in our control room. Terri will interview Suzanne about her career path, and what her job is like at Barefoot. Learn more about Barefoot here.
Speaking of those gorgeous Barefoot monitors, later we'll be holding listening sessions with "Preamps in Paradise," a detailed sonic comparison recorded by 3D Audio's Lynn Fuston. This is a rare chance to get to know a lot of high-end gear, in a truly high-end listening environment.
We'll also be hosting special guests from the NAMM Foundation, generous sponsors of our Girls on the Mic after-school program. And of course, there will be PRIZES!
