$30 members, $40 non-members
Being a successful independent artist takes a lot more than being a great musician. Learn from a veteran recording artist what it really takes to put your music on the map, including tips for songwriting, forming a plan, forming a band (and keeping it together), rehearsing (yes, you need to rehearse!), booking gigs, marketing yourself the right way, and working with booking agents, talent buyers, managers and producers. The class will also cover essential equipment for both studio and live performance, and tips for getting the most out of both home and studio recording. Taught by Terri Winston.
