Hey, members and friends! WAM's own Terri Winston is appearing at next week's Bay Area Women in Film & Media (BAWIFM) Event: "The Magic of Sound: Creating and Using Sound for Film, Video and All Other Media Projects." This awesome panel will cover various elements of sound for picture, and is open to men and women.
A Rare Look at the Various Elements of Sound:
* What technology and methods are involved in creating sound?
* Why is audio such a key component to a well made media project or film?
* What technology is used in both major motion pictures and smaller projects?
* What does it take to get any type of music (legally and in budget!) into your project?
* What should media makers know about sound BEFORE they begin shooting...the do's & don'ts of audio.
