  • For the spring semester, Girls on the Mic will be partnering with Buena Vista Horace Mann for their Middle School Seminar Series.  Each week for 10 weeks, girls from Horace Mann will come to WAM's Recording Studio to create their own podcasts, recreate dialogue and foley sound for a cartoon clip, write and produce their own songs on a 4 track recorder, and more.  At the end of our partnership, the girls will take on the role of production crew for a talent showcase at their school!

  • Introduction to Mastering
    April 10, 2014 - 6:30pm

    This workshop explores the mastering process from start to finish - from a collection of mixes to a complete master. Participants will learn about the formats used, the mastering specific software and gear used in the process as well as a detailed look at the workflow. This workshop is taught by Piper Payne who is a mastering engineer at Michael Romanowski Mastering in San Francisco.
