Join Women’s Audio Mission for Introduction to Electronic Music Production in which we’ll cover the basics of how to navigate and use Ableton Live including:

  • Understanding the Session/Arrangement views
  • How to use clips
  • Adding effects
  • Editing
  • Recording

We’ll dedicate time to understanding how to use MIDI within Ableton, and end with a run through of how to build a song in Ableton, which we’ll do in real-time together with tips on music production, beat production, choosing sounds that blend well together, synth and drum layering.


Please let us know if you will be bringing your own laptop from home (which we recommend you do if possible and if not possible, you are welcome to use computers here!) and download a free trial of Ableton Live 10 for the course: https://www.ableton.com/en/trial/.
