Girls on the Mic Partnership with Citizen Schools Apprenticeship Program

Girls on the Mic will be partnering with United for Success Academy from Oakland under their Citizen Schools Apprenticeship program.  WAM will host 15 middle-school aged girls at our studio every Thursday for ten weeks to explore careers in sound engineering.
 

Students from United for Success Academy will learn about:

  • Music production and recording
  • Podcast creation
  • Sound for Video
  • Live Sound Production
