Audio Production for Video Games

This class will provide a basic overview of sound production for video games, one of the fastest growing industry sectors for audio professionals. Taught by Elise Baldwin, Audio Director at Electronic Arts/Maxis
 
We will discuss working in 2D and 3D game environments, audio asset implementation, industry tools and specialized skills. We will take a look at some case studies to discuss aesthetic and conceptual design approaches, the various audio elements that comprise a good gameplay experience, as well as some key concerns when designing sound for a game.
