Sarah Jones brings 14 years of industry and leadership experience from her tenure at Mix Magazine where she was the editor-in-chief. A veteran public speaker and author, she has written hundreds of features, interviews and other articles about music recording, tour production, sound for picture and audio technology which appeared in Mix, Remix and Mix en Espanol. Her first book, Assistant Engineer Handbook: Gigs In the Recording Studio and Beyond, was published by Schirmer in 2004, and has been required coursework at Berklee College of Music.
She has Bachelor of Music degrees in Sound Recording Technology and Music Industry from University of Massachusetts, Lowell,MA.
Sarah's first love is music; She has been a musician for 30 years, and an avid listener of all styles and genres.
